Best of Both Islands – Bali & Sumba

March, 2017 – As Bali is a main hub and transit station for Sumba Island, The Legian Bali has teamed up with the award winning Nihiwatu Resort, Sumba to provide travellers a rare opportunity to experience these two very distinct islands in a unique stay package called ‘The Best of Both Islands.’

Catered to those seeking a secluded and rejuvenating island vacation yet still wanting to experience the vibrancy of city life, ‘The Best of Both Islands’ package allows travellers to explore the dynamic island of Bali before heading over to the more traditional and remote Sumba Island at an attractive package exclusive rate.

With a minimum of 2 night’s stay in The Legian Bali and a minimum of 3 nights at Nihiwatu Resort, guests will automatically be entitled for luxury perks like complimentary airport transfers and room upgrades at both resorts. However it is important to note that the “Best of Both Island” package is only valid with a consecutive stay period at both The Legian Bali and Nihiwatu Resort, Sumba

For those with extra time on their hands, an additional layover option at The Legian Bali is also available to guests of this package at a supplementary price of USD 250 net per couple. The layover package provides guests an equal amount of credit to be utilised at The Legian Bali while waiting for their outbound flight back home. With The Legian Bali being located a mere 30-minutes away from Ngurah Rai International Airport, its location provides an excellent base to relax and unwind before a flight.

The Legian Bali, an all-suite hotel, sets a new standard for resort living with its contemporary approach to traditional Indonesian design. Set in landscaped tropical gardens, the resort features 67 suites that are among the most spacious in Bali and the luxurious two-storey Beach House all designed to exude the feel of high-end private residences. Indonesian sculptures and indigenous arts abound throughout the resort’s public and private spaces.

The Legian Bali offers a quiet haven along a sandy stretch of Seminyak Beach. It is a mere 25-minute drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport and is situated on Bali’s southern coast, within walking distance of Bali’s trendiest shopping and nightlife areas. The Legian Bali raises the bar on luxury amidst the serenity of the island’s natural beauty.

Nihiwatu Resort is an award-winning luxury eco resort on the remote Sumba Island. Re-imagined and freshly re-opened in 2015, Nihiwatu captivates travellers from around the world in an exotic and authentic island setting.
