We are pleased to be welcoming guests back to our iconic resort. As ever, our utmost priority is to ensure you experience a truly enjoyable stay in a safe and comfortable environment. To that end, we have implemented stringent health and safety measures throughout the resort, in line with The Leading Hotels of the World’s Healthy Stay commitment. We have also recently achieved gold standard accreditation from the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC), a division of ISSA, The Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association, which establishes a comprehensive system for cleaning, disinfection and infectious disease prevention.
Below is an outline of the safety measures currently in place at The Legian Seminyak, Bali and The Club by The Legian Seminyak, Bali:
AIRPORT ARRIVAL
- Guests are greeted with the traditional Balinese hand gesture instead of a hand shake
- Luggage is sanitised on arrival
- All transfer vehicles are cleaned and sanitised before and after each journey
- Once in the car, guests are given an oshibori towel to refresh themselves as well as a face mask, hand sanitiser and disinfectant wipes for their personal use.
THE RESORT
- All employees, with very few exceptions such as those on pregnancy, have been vaccinated
All guests, employees and vendors are required to have their temperatures checked before entering the property. Anyone who records a higher than normal temperature will be referred to a medical professional for further checks. Hands must be washed or sanitised prior to entry.
- There is an in-house clinic which opens daily to guests and employees, from 8 am to 8 pm
- Hand sanitisers are available in all public areas
- Employees follow social distancing wherever possible, wear masks and wash or sanitise their hands regularly
- Each department has a Health Champion to ensure all colleagues follow health and safety measures at all times
- Elevator
buttons, staircase railings and door handles are disinfected regularly
- On
departure, guests are offered the option of a contactless checkout.
YOUR SAFE HAVEN
- Every suite and villa is thoroughly disinfected after each checkout
- Deliveries to the suite or villa are served on a tray. After knocking on the door, employees practice physical distancing by standing back from the door
- All
suites and villas are equipped with complimentary hand sanitiser and disinfectant
wipes as part of the amenities, as well as a complimentary bottle of infused
water produced in-house with fruit and herbs from The Wellness Garden,
good for boosting the immune system
- Our
LHM fabric face mask and surgical face masks are available upon request.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE
- At present, all meals are served à la carte
- Tables, chairs and tableware are cleaned and disinfected after guests leave
Tables and chairs have been spaced out to create ample distance between each party
Larger parties will be seated in a separate location.
LEISURE AREAS AND WELLNESS BY THE LEGIAN
- Newspaper and magazines are available via the Pressreader App
- Daybeds and sundeck chairs in the pool area are spaced out with a minimum distance of two metres
- Employees
ensure that physical distancing in The Gymnasium powered by TechnoGym
and wellness areas is adhered to
- Guests
must pre-book the use of areas at Wellness by The Legian, spa treatments
and kids activities
- All
wellness areas and spa suites are immediately sanitised after each use
- Kids
activities are done outside and are limited to six children at any one time
- Clothing
items tried in The Boutique will be steamed after they have been tried
on.
