<p>Trained at the prestigious Escuela de Hostelería Leioa in Bilbao, Paula Gutiérrez Pérez quickly distinguished herself for her technical precision, creativity, and deep respect for culinary heritage</p><p><br></p><p>She refined her craft in some of Spain’s most celebrated kitchens, including Atelier Etxanobe and the three-Michelin-starred Noor in Córdoba. Her international experience further expanded her culinary vision when she served as sous-chef at the Ambassador Hotel in Switzerland, where she gained exposure to global techniques and high-level hospitality standards</p><p><br></p><p>Upon returning to Spain, Paula took on the role of head chef at Deessa, the acclaimed restaurant located within the iconic Mandarin Oriental Ritz. There, she further strengthened her reputation for combining refinement with bold, contemporary expression.</p><p><br></p><p>In 2024, Paula returned to her hometown of Salamanca to lead the kitchen at Víctor Gutiérrez, her family’s Michelin-starred restaurant and the only Peruvian restaurant in Spain to hold a Michelin star.
