Well known for their signature 'Four Hands' dinner, The Legian Bali will once again play host to some of the world’s most revered chefs. This 3rd March, the revered Philip Johnson will join The Legian Bali’s Executive Chef Luke MacLeod. Known as the father of Melbourne’s molecular gastronomy scene, Chef Johnson known for his cooking classes, demonstrations, guest chef appearances, recipe contributions in a myriad of books, and a featured columnist in some of Brisbane’s most well-known publications, Philip has also written and published six cookbooks throughout his years as an internationally known chef.

In conjunction with the Legian Bali’s 20th Anniversary Celebration event held earlier in August this year, the renowned Balinese jeweller John Hardy wowed guests with his latest Spring 2016 collection in an engaging display of fashion and bejewelled statement pieces. Throughout the night, a pop-up show room allowed guests to purchase exclusive John Hardy pieces with 20% of the proceeds being donated to The Legian Bali’s in house charity organization, Team 8.

The Legian Bali is proud to receive its second internationally recognized award of the year, the Best Regional Luxury All Suite Hotel at the World Luxury Hotel Awards 10th anniversary event. Held on the 29th of October at Doha, Qatar with over 350 esteemed guests from all around the globe, this red carpet affair celebrated the achievements of only the world’s best and finest hotels.

This 18th November, the celebrated Scottish-born Raymond Capaldi will join The Legian Bali’s Executive Chef Luke MacLeod. Known as the father of Melbourne’s molecular gastronomy scene, Chef Capaldi heads some of the city’s best restaurants, including the famed Hare & Grace in Melbourne, Australia.
